Picture guide to shelf invertebrates from the northern Gulf of Mexico

Would have a higher rating but using Adobe Reader makes going back and forward difficult. Good pictures, mush info. On species. Not only mollusks identification. Simple and uncluttered layout.

Seashells

. Not a shell dealer or club but an individual who put his shell collection on the web. Good pictures, lots of pages, and shells described. A common name list that might not be too good for a source of ID, otherwise a good ID resource. Links to other sites and a book list.

Not a shell ssite but related topics. In going through my shell sites, I wanted to include this site because you can learn alot about different things, not only shell collecting.

Lots of links and information. Nice music on home page with a home decoration section. Many pictures, can buy shells for a collection. I'm not saying this site is better than other dealer sites but I review sites as they come to me. Music on home page might still be there.

A good selection of categories to see, shells in art, shell money, etc. Information somewhat lacking, can be more detailed. Pictures fair. Colors on the computer I used were hard to see for me (all computers display pages differently). Some links to other sites. Worth a visit.

I might of reviewed this site before but don’t remember. The link to Malacology has one active link to marine Gastropods and one genus, it is under conestrction. In time, there will be links to Bivalves and Land Shells. There is a link to a library of books, papers, and journals. Some papers can be bought. The online collection can be searched, I tried a few searches, no pictures and incomplete data. In time, might will be improved
