Many links, museum store, planetarium, school programs, etc. Some shell pictures. Lots to look at. A 360 virtual tour of the museum halls. Worth a visit.
3D Museum

Site is under devilment so it doesn’t work correctly. I include it because it is a very interesting concept. There are links for Power Point development and possible inclusion into a presentation, it was not checked out. The University of CA at Davis is still developing the site. At the about us link, it is suggested the site be checked out occasionally, if you are interested. click cover or picture to enter museum.
University of Michigan, Museum of Zoology, Mollusk Division

Some marine mollusk links, fresh water mollusks, terrestrial mollusks, and non mollusk links. Information on species native to the Michigan area, with checklists of insects and other creatures, museum links, literature links, etc. Michigan is on a great lake so naturally it has non marine links.
The Jacksonville Shell Club

A repete review? Hard to keep track. An excellent site for Florida shells and shelling. Much information with many pictures. Fast loading pages makes it a pleasure to work with. Want to know about shells especially FL shells, VISIT! If go to FL, a must see site.
Title?The Captured Cowry

This reviewer doesn’t like the background color, hard to see (blue with black text, red links). Mostly deals with Hawaiian Cowries. Some pictures, in process of updating. There is an archive section of articles, research section, and a more collector orientated section. Frame enabled site, don’t like. Site mostly devoted to Hawaiian Cowries, can be adapted to Cowries worldwide. Links to some clubs, scuba collecting, cleaning, etc. Many links to infomation, may be hard to use but if you like Cowries, a must see site.
Seashell Identifier, Sealife and More
6/26/2008
Yet another ID site. Good for whats found on the beach besides shells. Lots of pictures. Worth a visit to ID what you find. Maybe not too good for non US shellers.
The Tree of Life Web Project, Home
6/26/2008
Web site featured in American Conchologist, home page of an article (Spirula). Interesting if you like Evolution. If I got to Gastropods, Bivalves, Chitons, Tusks, etc. you can. Pictures with scientific names only, can figure out species by Generic name. Can be tricky to navigate but stick with it if investigate.
Treasures from the Sea

Another kid’s page I came across. A long URL. A link to the Marine Museum of Virginia Beach. All About Seashells, and others. Teachers take a look.
Shell collecting __ Encyclopedia Britannica
6/26/2008
Another long URL. An encyclopedia informational article with links to other articles. To get other articles, a free trial is required. Reviewer had a 23 volume collection of encyclopedias and the shell information inside is fantastic. The online encyclopedia might have a link to color plates used in the book form of the encyclopedia.
Man and Mollusc
5/28/2008
Many, many links can be confusing for the casual surfer but if you have a particular goal in mind, a VERY useful site. In my review I found two non functioning links, can be a few more. Much information especially for kids and teachers. Worth a visit. I found the site map and search a nice feature. Site is in process of being fixed so not all features will work.
